Co-operative Energy Trading System on the way for Ireland

Oireachtas Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment debate the Microgeneration Support Scheme Bill
On March 5th, the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment debated the Microgeneration Support Scheme Bill. The bill would force energy providers to buy electricity produced by 'microgenerators' including small communities, clubs and schools.
