The Government is consulting on the planned support scheme for Renewable Energy in Ireland, and they are seeking the public’s views on what should be in it.

Three great consultation workshops are planned with the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment with Tipperary Energy Agency and the Western Development Commission.

There are plans to support Community-led renewable energy projects for the first time in Ireland, and really ambitious targets to increase renewable electricity generation up to 70% from a mix of sources, onshore and offshore wind, solar, hydro and CHP.
