Invest in Solar – Expression of Interest
We are looking for communities and people who share in our vision of community and citizen owned renewable energy in Ireland, and want to own a share in a solar farm in Ireland. In 2020 we will be participating in the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) community preference auction with up to three solar farms in Galway, Tipperary and Mayo.
Following that we will develop a share offer for people and communities to own a share, or many shares in our solar farms. Although we have started these projects and have put in the work to get planning permission and grid connection, we hope that in the end they will be owned by many many others too.
Our share offer will be open to all who wish to participate and will offer reasonable and fair returns on investment. Our company has been designed with democratic and co-operative principles at its core, and will be governed on the basis of one member one vote.
